Today in class we are implementing feedback we got from other groups that played out game, taking into consideration their opinions on how to improve or game with either adding features or removing features.
In addition, we also worked on making our final list of materials that we will require the user to obtain during the game to succeed and have their space ship fly into space. We originally had a lit of about 25 food supplies and 15 space ship parts. We narrowed it do to the basic essentials which will be about 10-15 food/resource items and 5 main space ship parts so the players are not running around the science center for hours looking for everything.
From the last class we had, we noticed that some of QR codes were hard to read from the scanner on the Augment app so we are also redesigning those to make them more bold and easier for the scanner to read so the users are not stuck trying to make the code scan.
So from here on we are making a To-Do-List on things we need to do from hear on to complete our game. Some things our list includes is getting more familiar with the Augment App, finalizing our QR code designs and items they are linked to, creating a brochure for our game explaining its rules, the purpose, and general information about the game.
